i think this way of working the pre funding is as fair as it could be, it also shows that SS are as interested in little me and my investments as they are in the big boys, so thank you for that SS

i have transferred some cash from my SS account back to my bank, i did it late on the 28th and also early on the 29th, my SS account says they have gone but my bank account hasn’t received them, im guessing that its because of the holiday period but just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem. is this normal over holiday periods, if it is then i wont move cash at these times in the future. thanks for any replies.

I made a deposit with MT on Sunday (ie a 'non banking' day) ... and it was acknowledged within the hour and the funds made available for my immediate use. (Note: I really do like SS so this comparison with MT is in no way meant to be negative but more in the spirit of a helpful 'can do better' tip for SS). I reckon MoneyThing Ed's now trained some of the chickens to do it at the weekend same for me, moneything sorted my balance straight away. not really a problem either way, i just like to know what's what

i paid into my account late friday and still not showing in my account, ive made other payments since as well, my understanding is that if its paid after 5pm on friday it doesnt show in my account until tuesday. is that right If that's the case why not make the payment on Sunday (presuming you're earning some interest on the funding account)? maybe thats the way forward but im new to this so maybe next time, im now starting to look at other P to P sites and dont want things left unfinished

Having received my congratulations from SS on being awarded my paltry amounts on todays loans, there are only two sensible options. 1. Quit altogether. Or 2. Game the system. So from now on, at least in the smaller loans, I'll request 10x what I want. Once everyone starts doing that, I'll move up to 20x, or more...and anything unwanted can simply be sold on immediately. Where does it end? Why not just request a million? (Would I get 1 day's interest if I sell the next day?) The only sensible way forward is a requirement to have the funds in your account beforehand (with a day's notice given), and for everyone to be awarded a minimum £100 slice ( or equal amounts of less if the loan is smaller). SS have to decide whether they want everyone on board, or just the ultra-rich. Great, I will keep bidding low then, knowing that you and some others are going to end up with too much anyway and will sell the extra on SM. Cheers. worked well for me today, gained a fair bit on SM today.
