Anyone else having trouble this morning? Getting this message: Server Error in '/' Application. The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly. Requested URL: /default.aspx I just wanted to see if WestonKevs salary had joined the queue yet.

Looks like they've downgraded the site. It's awful.
Any stores out there doing cheap deals on sunglasses?

Looks like its gone into low resolution, with a limited range of colours. I will wait for it to be fixed before making any transactions.
EDIT: Ahh, its looking a little better now. Yes another 'lets make it UGLY' site re-design.

I've got in now, in Firefox, the font sizes are all over the place and the main menu bar is only at the top of the screen when you're not at the top of the page.(and this makes it difficult to see what I have on loan and on offer) Why do this at the begining of the working day

I'm using Firefox (latest version) - unable to click in the username field (although bizarrely I can click in the password field). Hence I can't login.
Not terribly impressed right now.

Conversation overheard this morning at the Ratesetter offices between the Managing Director and the Web Developer
Ratesetter MD : Why are we getting so many complaints about the new website? Ratesetter Web Developer : I can't understand it! It seemed alrigth when I tried it.
RS MD: So you did test it? RS WD : Of course did - I spent at least an hour last night checking it out - worked fine.
RS MD: Can I see your test plans please? RS WD : What's a test plan? I just tried a few screens in Internet Explorer.
RS MD: What other major browsers did you test it on? RS WD : Oh, I didn't bother with that - everybody uses Internet Explorer, don't they?
RS MD: Did you think of creating redirects so that old bookmarked pages didn't just give errors? RS WD : Ooops! Didn't think of that. Not sure I know how to do that, anyway.
RS MD: Nice job - you're fired!

A bit off topic, my son was unable to log into his college server (Chrome), we found it only worked under IE, but IE did not work on his PC & anyway I had advised him never to use it!!!!! I have got in to RS using Chrome, but would like the old site back please.

Couldn't agree more, it's absolutely vile. Have only seen it in Firefox so far, but think thin pale mauve writing will be a bit of an issue on my ipad mini. Loads of broken links void pop-ups - why oh why do they do this, and who do they test on? 'Roll-back' required pdq .

The old pages were clear and simplebut looked quietly professional - just what was needed. This new appearance is amateurish in the extreme. What on earth is the RS webmaster trying to achieve?

I agree with all the previous comments. Whether intentional or not, the new design seems to assume a higher screen resolution, meaning the RS screen no longer fits neatly on my old laptop's screen, whether on IE or Firefox. On every screen I have to scroll up/down and left/right. It's ruddy awful! The previous design wasn't broken, so why fix it?

It won't let me enter my email address in my Firefox, so can't log in anyway Not inclined to spend time messing around with other browsers right now - let's hope they do something sensible and get it all fixed. Shocking mess.
