My savings balances are also invisible today. They were visible on Friday but disappeared yesterday. I also have savings with Paragon, Ford and Aldermore. They have all been 100% reliable. I can’t see any more of my cash going to Zopa anytime soon.

So was checking out Mrs Aju's "My Details" option and noticed that her address was somewhat incomplete and also she had an Investor type error!. I checked mine also and lo and behold my address was full and complete but I also had an investor type error. Not sure if it's big enough to see so here is the text too My address was ok but parts of Mrs aju's address are missing. We were going to change it but thought better of making any changes at the present time!

I can’t see any more of my cash going to Zopa anytime soon. Ford worked well for Mrs aju, not tried the other two. Thing is though whilst we are concerned about our money in Zopa - on the savings side at least - when/if we get her initial savings funds back on the 5th - then we will be fully covered again by the fscs on Zopa savings (We currently have more than the fscs by about 5K as the rates crossed over by a few days when the last option was taken a couple of weeks ago). Of course having been with Zopa almost since the start they have indeed had a few gaff's over the years but this and the February failures are the worst and largest they have had since the start. That said in all the issues in the past we have found Zopa's recompenses to be more than adequate when we have complained. Of course this might not be the case for everyone many of whom may not even have noticed any issues over the years. Thankfully having been in the S/W business for the majority of my career in GPO and later BT (39 years before retirement) I monitor all my investments and Banks very closely and sadly Zopa are not the only ones having technology issues in many sectors. Some years this vigilance has served us equally as well as working for a living.

Ok so i've been poking Zopa on Twitter, along with others, and I asked what they might be having to do to compensate Mrs Aju should she not be able to get her money on Tues - Assuming they are still having issues of course (Currently we are unable to see her savings accounts on Zopa.) I received a response back today suggesting that they would be guided by FCA guidelines. So I thought I'd go and see what they might be - we've never had to go to the FCA in getting recompense from Zopa so far. If anyone is interested then this FCA document might be useful if only for an idea of what might be possible. www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/businesses/resolving-complaint/understanding-compensationThe section entitled "Types of compensation we can award" may be useful in our case in that if we cannot remove the savings on the 5th as long as we can show that this would be of detriment to us (We cannot reinvest elsewhere if we cannot access the funds from Zopa.) There are a number of different ways the FCA might consider you should be compensated so its worth reading. One thing i would say is that one could have to wait up to 8 weeks before you can go to the FCA but its always useful to know how this stuff works, if Zopa is dragging its heals then once the 8 weeks is up you can go regardless. Zopa would not want a large number of people all going to the FCA and there does seem to be quite a bit of twitter traffic with the likes of myself copying the FCA into my tweets already. Others have been poking the other obvious places, MSE, BBC, Moneybox, Sky, ITV etc. As a result Zopa will be well aware that this is not a small issue despite them trying to play it down so far. All the above said I think that whilst Zopa are probably throwing the kitchen sink at the current issues the fact they have not rolled back to a previous good backup thus far in is not very encouraging and will probably not go down well for the future either with 2 major issues in the space of 8 months. Relatively little before that.

Totaly unable to access withdrawls, getting the message "Your investment dashboard is currently in a read-only state. This means you're able to view your investment, but not make any changes. Please note, the balance you see may not include your most recent repayments, but these will be reflected once we’ve fully restored all services." Is everyone getting this?

Yes, my fixed term savings products have disappeared from the app today. I may be turning green and ripping my shirt off if this is not fixed by Monday when my wife has a product maturing and Wednesday for mine. Just curious the faqs suggest that when the account is finished they will be in touch for what you need to do next. Have you by chance had this as yet. I've taken pdf's of all the pages so far - not taking any chances that this goes awry. Just wondering how close to closure does the final interest get added and the funds are presumably passed to whatever passes for the "savings holding account" Mrs aju's finishes tomorrow but i'm wondering if it actually finishes on the 6th and they do not contact until that date. I would be moving it out as soon we can to get it into our day to day savings account (Marcus @ 0.6%) until we can decide where to direct it. Short term rates are not that great anywhere at present so we ned to find somewhere to put it assuming that option is available of course. Still cannot see the loanbook and funds are not changing in P2P at present.

What a shambles Last response in our accounts suggests that the last update was Sep 27th so i'm guessing the front end is no longer connected to the backend or at the very least the onscreen tables info is not being updated from the main storage tables. Mind you its only a guess and i'm not convinced that Zopa developers are not much wiser but who knows. If they are running updates later this afternoon (nothing usually works over the weekend as such) then we might see some new data perhpas. Who knows how they might update the loanbooks (currently unavailable) - lets hope they don't lose data as was the case in the early February (Major) update/s. (The excuse I got was a cleanup run was to remove some redundant! loans was carried out before the update which failed) Then in the week they delayed they forgot to backtrack the cleanup. Subsequently some closed, settled and defaulted data was lost to users at the end of the update. They were unable to resupply the data and since they had changed the indexing (Loanid and borrowerID) it would have been almost impossible for users who did not have old data to marry up new data. Even with Zopa's assistance it took nearly a month to expose that data had even gone missing during the updates and they would not have declared it even if they knew it I feel!.

ajuReceived an email two weeks before maturity but nothing since then, perhaps due to the IT issue.

aju Received an email two weeks before maturity but nothing since then, perhaps due to the IT issue. View Attachment Hmmm!, was that part of a monthly email or a special email perhaps. Must go and poke Mrs Aju to see if she missed sending me the email. Thanks. Edit: Ignore my question, Mrs Aju had sent it to me and i'd flagged it for me to go back to it but i guess i was too busy with other stuff and the email list for follow up got too big. That said i've now read it, presumably again, and it's not really that helpful if i'm honest. Does make one wonder why they are not coming back but i guess with all hands to the pump they are a bit busy perhaps!.

I think they've just got fed up answering queries when they've got zero information to give us. The support staff are either being told absolutely nothing or being told not to tell us the truth.
I don't think their emails for savings accounts are working at the moment as someone else was asking that on Twitter earlier.
